CAMPAING NOT TO RACISM

In support of the @blacklivematters movement, the Foundation launched a campaign that is of great importance for the country and worldwide. It is a call to conscience as a human being, as a unified society without labels, reinforcing respect for good actions, among other values, important for our existence.

THE INTERNATIONAL DAY OF THE ENVIROMENT

As part of the celebration of the International Day of the Environment, the Foundation joined this is in a very special way, we not only wanted to celebrate it, we wanted our effort to have a high impact and a dual purpose, so we developed a OOH campaign, turning them into living filters that will help purify the air.

WILDFIRES

A campaign against wildfires in support of the preservation of wildlife and forests, both of which are endangered due to vandalism, where fires are started to encourage calling 9-1-1.

CAMPAIGN LET YOURSELF BE EXAMINED

In Costa Rica, prostate cancer is not only the second most common cancer in the population, but it is also the cancer with the highest mortality rate after skin cancer. This risk of contracting this asymptomatic and silent disease increases with age, and it most frequently appears after 50 years of age.

THE MINISTRY OF CULTURE WILL RESCHEDULE ARTISTIC ACTIVITIES IN SEPTEMBER.

Activities will be rescheduled for the last four months of the year, with the objective of prioritizing events involving hires within the artistic culture and youth sector, in order to re-activate the economy.

THE GREAT CORAL REEF IN THE MEDITERRANEAN, UNPROTECTED.

Almost 10 years ago, in a 2011 expedition, the NGO Oceana discovered the cold-water coral reef in the Cabliers Bank, in the Alboran Sea, in waters shared by Morocco, Algeria and Spain, at depths of 300-400 meters.

COSTA RICA IS ALMOST A MEMBER OECD

As one of the last steps for the country’s accession, the Board of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) agreed to formally invite Costa Rica to become the 38th member of the organization and the 4th Latin American member.
